The lodge consists of 6 separate villas in a jungle setting. Each comfortably furnished villa features 2 bedrooms (one with a king bed and the other with a king and a full size bed), a living area with Direct T.V., a fully equipped kitchen with a snack bar, air conditioning and hot water. Fishing trophies adorn the walls. The pool is a few steps from each villa. The open air restaurant features fresh seafood and an American chef is employed during the high season. Los Sueños Resort with their golf course and marina is 5 minutes away and Jaco beach is 10 minutes. The Lodge has a van to assist guests.

"Built on a former cattle ranch, the layout calls to mind an African savannah. Surrounded by mountains and ocean, the course is dotted with huge matapalo trees. Two of the trees resemble lovers, their trunks growing together into one and reaching to the sky. Creatures that call Hacienda Pinilla home—toucans, iguanas, deer, monkeys and the occasional black panther—are less menacing than Hacienda Pinilla's chest-high rough."

Captain Tom’s Sportfishing features a 37’ custom built Sport Fisherman with all the latest fish-finding equipment and Penn International and Shimano rods and reels. They have consistently been a top boat out of the Los Sueños Marina. Half day and full day charters are available. Captain Tom will soon be adding a 38’ Luhrs Express with state of the art angling equipment plus air conditioning.

The Estrella del Mar

Thirty-seven foot Custom Express Sport Fishing boat fully equipped with the latest electronics, live-well, tuna tubes. Murray fighting chair, stereo, Shimano and Penn International Reels with custom rods.

The bridge deck has a helm station, two 6’ benches and a large a large white bimini top.

The Salon has two 8’ benches and stratoglass enclosure.

The cabin has a head, shower and V berth.

Large Sailfish, Marlin and Yellow Fish Tuna of the Pacific Coasts of Costa Rica.

Snapper, Wahoo, Dolphin, Mackerel, Rooster Fish.
