Sorry to say, we arrived back in New York last night, (brrrr!) after spending three GLORIOUS days at Manuel Antonio. We stopped along the way at Villa Coletas. It's like we died and went to heaven.

At the beach, we went on the jet ski safari. It was awesome. The Si Como No resort was truly unique. We returned to San Jose on Travel Air, a 6-seater Piper. Herb got to co-pilot the plane. It was a blast. The last day, despite high winds, Herb played the Cariari and shot his best round. All in all, it was quite a trip. We'll always have great memories, including our night at the Monastery.

Thanks again for your advice and help. We'll be in touch as soon as we start to plan next year's vacation. Happy, healthy and prosperous New Year to all.

Ever since my husband retired we have been on the go traveling to different golf destinations. We look for places that are not only beautiful but places that offer "out-of-the-ordinary" excitement to the trip. Well, we hit the jackpot in Costa Rica. What a scenically spectacular country. Not only is it breathtakingly picturesque but the people are refreshingly friendly and easy to be with.

The golf courses are wonderful and the food is great. It sounds like I could gone on and on about Costa Rica and I could. We absolutely loved it. Landy Blank and his wonderful wife Susan arranged every detail of the trip...rental cars to tee times. We had the time of our life.

And that's the truth.

How is life in Paradise? It was a year ago this coming week that we began our trip. We are about to enter our 9th year of marriage and besides our honeymoon (which shouldn't count) that was the best time ever.

Just wanted to let you know how much we all enjoyed our trip. Your suggestions and selections of hotels and golf were perfect. We especially enjoyed the accommodations and golf at Conchal.

When speaking of our trip to people, I always share a couple of thoughts. We were very impressed with how both of you met us upon our arrival and were always available in the event we might need something unforeseen. We were very taken with how friendly and efficient your associates were from our first contact with Fernando when we arrived at the airport.

Everyone was very friendly and always ready and available to assist us in any way. At the hotels, the staff at the pro shops and throughout the hotel were all very nice and responded immediately to the mention of your name. We quickly found that if there was even a slight bit of confusion or question of any kind, we simply said “Landy” and we were taken care of without question.

We have been fortunate, in that we have been able travel and play golf in many places over the past years. We describe our Costa Rica golf trip as being flawless. We had absolutely no problems or inconveniences. The people were friendly, the food was great, and we truly had everything we desired.

We were very impressed that there were no exaggerations or misrepresentations. Everything we were told to expect was as described and a few things exceeded our expectations.

Thank you both for seeing that our first experience in Costa Rica was special. We’ll Be Back

A very tardy Thank You for planning such a wonderful vacation and for meeting us at the airport and "briefing" us. Of all the sights, Paul and I agree the volcano, unusually active we were told, was probably the most grand. To be sitting in the hot springs at Tabacon as we watched the lava flow down Arenal --- THAT was other-worldly.

We saw much jungle life, hiked a lot. The ticos are refreshingly open and friendly. It shames us in the US. I think I could easily live in Costa Rica, inland where my horse and I could make a life.

Thank you and forward my thanks to Landy and Susan. I have given your Web site address to several friends and will continue to recommend Golf Adventures.
